To mark the celebration of the International Women's Day and the first event organised for this year, The Romanian Arts and Folklore Association in partnership with The Honorary Romanian Consulate Bristol, Romanian Cultural Institute in London, The Orthodox Parish of St John Cassian in Oxford and The Orthodox Parish of St George in Holborn, invites you to join us for three extraordinary piano recitals of the young virtuous pianist, Szocs Botond, student at the Brasov Music Faculty and mentored by the internationally recognised pianist and professor, Stela Dragulin.
He has participated in many national and international competitions, gaining a high number of prizes, among which The Remember Enescu Prizeoffered by the George Enescu Foundation and the Bursary for Excellence offered by The Romanian Arts and Folklore Association. The pianist has numerous concert apparitions in Romania, in Braob, Targu-Mures and Buchare at the prestigious Romanian Athanaeum or the Radio Hall. In 2012-2013 he has started to appear as a soloist with renowned symphonic orchestras such as the Sibiu Symphonic Orchestra.
The locations will include the Romanian Cultural Institute, Bristol, Oxford and London and will indeed offer a great variety of works by Chopin and Enescu.
